July 14 - A new week of training

My remedial running program called for increasing the intervals today to run for 2 minutes and walk for only 1. I started strong, but couldn't handle every interval. Once or twice I had to drop to only a minute, but on one particularly flat, and then down hill stretch, I pushed it right up to 3 minutes. Shins and feet are sore today and I am icing them now. Covered 2.3 miles. I am going to look for flatter ground today - its the hills that are messing me up.
